OXVA XLIM Pro 3 Review: Is It Worth It in 2026?
The 2026 flagship of the XLIM line and the first chipset change you can actually taste. Here is what the spec sheet does not tell you.
The XLIM Pro 3 is the top of the ten-device XLIM platform and, on our testing, the one most buyers should choose. It pairs a 1500mAh battery with OXVA's Photon chipset and Pulse power system behind a 1.05-inch colour screen.
Verified specs (UK)

| Chipset | Photon chip with Pulse System |
| Display | 1.05" HD colour |

What the Pulse chipset actually does
OXVA's Pulse System delivers power in rapid micro-bursts rather than a flat curve. In practice that reads as a slightly crisper, more consistent flavour from the first puff of a pod to the last, and it is the first genuine chipset change in the XLIM line you can notice by taste rather than by spec. It is not transformative, but it is real.
Battery life in the real world
OXVA quotes up to five days per charge. That survives light mouth-to-lung use on a 1.2 Ohm pod; a heavier vaper on 0.6 Ohm will get a day to a day and a half, which is normal for a 1500mAh pod kit. The USB-C fast charge, 80% in around half an hour, matters more day to day than the headline figure.
Pro 3 vs Pro 2
The Pro 2 remains an excellent kit at a lower price, with a 1300mAh cell and a smaller 0.56-inch screen. The Pro 3 adds capacity, the Pulse chipset and a far more usable display. If budget is tight the Pro 2 is still a strong buy; if you want the best XLIM, it is the Pro 3. Both share the same XLIM pods, so upgrading does not strand your consumables.
The verdict
The Pro 3 is the XLIM to buy for most people: flagship battery, the best screen in the line, and a chipset upgrade with a real flavour payoff. Its only genuine rival for the money is the value-pick Go 2, which shares the 1500mAh cell without the screen. Where the Pro 3 sits against the rest of the family is set out in the XLIM model guide.
Frequently asked questions
Is the OXVA XLIM Pro 3 worth buying?
For most MTL vapers, yes. It has the best battery and screen in the XLIM line and a Pulse chipset that gives a noticeably crisper flavour. The main alternative is the cheaper Go 2, which shares the 1500mAh battery but has no screen.
What is new on the XLIM Pro 3 versus the Pro 2?
The Pro 3 has a larger 1500mAh battery (up from 1300mAh), the new Photon chip with Pulse power delivery, and a bigger 1.05-inch screen versus the Pro 2's 0.56-inch. Both use the same XLIM pods.
What is the XLIM Pro 3 battery life?
OXVA claims up to five days. That holds for light use on a high-resistance pod; heavier use on a 0.6 Ohm pod gives around a day to a day and a half. Fast USB-C charging reaches 80% in about 30 minutes.
What wattage does the XLIM Pro 3 run at?
It is adjustable from 5 to 30 watts, which covers every XLIM pod including the 0.4 Ohm that needs 30W.
Does the XLIM Pro 3 take older XLIM pods?
Yes. It uses the standard XLIM V3 top-fill pods from 0.4 to 1.2 Ohm, the same pods used across the XLIM range, so existing pods carry over.
