How to Set Up, Fill and Change Pods on Your OXVA
Five minutes of setup done right is the difference between a pod that lasts two weeks and one that tastes burnt on day one.
Every OXVA pod kit follows the same routine. Get it right once and it becomes second nature. This applies to the whole XLIM and NeXLIM range; the only variation is where the fill port sits.
1. Charge it first
New devices ship part-charged. Give it a full USB-C charge before the first vape so you are not diagnosing a flat battery as a fault.
2. Fill the pod
Pull the pod out of the device. Find the fill port, usually under a silicone plug on the side or base, or a top cap on EZ pods. Insert your bottle nozzle and fill slowly to the 2ml line, leaving a small air gap at the top. Overfilling floods the centre airflow and causes gurgling. Reinsert the plug firmly.
3. Prime the coil (do not skip this)
This is the step that saves pods. Once filled, stand the pod upright for five to ten minutes so the wick fully soaks. Then take three or four gentle draws without firing (or at the lowest wattage) to pull liquid into the coil. A coil fired dry scorches instantly and is ruined, which is the number one cause of a new pod tasting burnt.
4. Turn it on and set the power
Devices with a button switch on with five rapid clicks. Screenless kits like the Go are draw-activated and simply work when charged. If your device has adjustable wattage, set it to match the pod using the resistance guide, starting low and rising a watt at a time.
5. Change the pod when the time comes
A pod is spent when the flavour dulls or turns singed, the vapour thins, or it starts to seep. Pull it straight out, click the fresh one in, and prime it exactly as above.
