NeXLIM Dual Mesh, Explained Properly

OXVA claims 200% flavour and 200% lifespan from one pod. Here is the engineering behind the marketing, and the honest verdict.

The hardware

A conventional pod wicks one mesh coil. Each NeXLIM pod contains two, wound in parallel with multi-layer cotton between them, behind a top-fill port and a five-layer leak stack. The device firmware decides how the pair fires.

The two modes

Boost drives both coils at once. Double the heated surface means more liquid vaporised per second at the same draw, which reads as denser vapour and a fuller flavour front. OXVA's laboratory figure is up to 200% flavour output versus a single coil.

Eco alternates the coils puff by puff. Each coil does half the work, accumulates gunk at half the rate, and the pod's usable life stretches accordingly; the same 200% figure appears on lifespan.

The honest verdict

Manufacturer lab numbers are ceilings, not promises. What holds up in independent reviews: Boost mode is audibly and tastably more intense than a single mesh pod at the same wattage, and Eco mode pods genuinely outlast standard XLIM pods on identical liquid. Both effects are strongest on the 0.6 Ohm pod above 25W.

Device choice

The NeXLIM (1500mAh, 0.85 inch screen) suits people who want to see and set their wattage. The NeXLIM Go (1800mAh, screenless, 58.7g) trades the display for endurance. Output ceiling and pods are identical, so neither choice costs you performance.

Pod economics

The 2ml pods are rated 15+ refills. In Eco with 50/50 salts, expect the top of that range; in Boost with sweetened liquid, the bottom. The 4ml XL pods are a non-TPD capacity that some UK listings carry. Migrating from XLIM? OXVA's adaptor accepts your leftover 0.4-1.2 Ohm XLIM pods.
